About the Role
Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) is a leading producer of fresh milk and dairy products operating on a 550-hectare facility in Vom, Plateau State. We are seeking a dedicated Tax and Treasury Officer to oversee our financial compliance, tax planning, and cash management operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate statutory remittances, optimize liquidity, and maintain strong banking relationships to support our expanding agricultural and dairy processing business in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage monthly computations and statutory remittances including VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSITF, ITF, and pensions while reviewing general ledger expense reclassifications.
- Monitor evolving tax legislation, support tax audits, and liaise directly with external tax authorities and advisors.
- Oversee daily cash operations, liquidity forecasting, and banking relationships, including account management and signatory updates.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposures, manage intercompany loans, and ensure adherence to internal treasury policies.
- Prepare comprehensive tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and detailed treasury reports for management review.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in tax management and treasury operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
