About the Role
BIC Nigeria is Africa's premier agribusiness company solving problems in agriculture and ensuring food availability through efficient farming and food production methods, thereby raising agribusiness models. We are currently looking for a dynamic and analytical Supply Planner to join our fast-paced, Excel-driven environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of raw materials and finished products across local and export markets while actively managing inventory health and supporting new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain stock cover, safety stock levels, and replenishment schedules for a defined portfolio of raw materials and finished products for the Nigerian market.
- Lead end-to-end intercompany replenishments, manage import planning cycles, and drive execution of supply plans for locally produced finished products.
- Coordinate export supply requirements, confirm stuffing schedules, and ensure zero missed vessel schedules in compliance with supply review outcomes.
- Proactively identify SKUs at risk of entering slow-moving and obsolete (SLOB) status, drive reduction strategies, and optimize container configurations for landed cost management.
- Coordinate feedstock availability for new product launches, maintaining robust launch planning trackers and participating in readiness reviews.
- Publish accurate month-end supply reports including SLOB, Days of Cover, and Supply Risk metrics within agreed timelines.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in supply planning, materials planning, or inventory management within an FMCG, manufacturing, or services environment.
- Demonstrable advanced proficiency in Excel-based planning, including complex formulas, structured tracking tools, and scenario modelling.
- Proven experience managing replenishment cycles for both local and import or export supply chains with strong numerical literacy.
- Exposure to enterprise resource planning systems such as JDE, SAP, or Oracle is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with S&OP and IBP ideologies, working capital management, and inventory optimization projects.
