About the Role
BIC Nigeria is a leading agribusiness company dedicated to transforming food production and ensuring sustainable food availability across Africa. We are currently looking for a dynamic and analytical Supply Planner to join our growing operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of raw materials and finished products across local and export markets. Operating in a fast-paced, Excel-driven environment, you will own a defined portfolio of SKUs, maintain rigorous replenishment cycles, and contribute directly to working capital improvement, inventory optimization, and supply risk reduction.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain stock cover, safety stock levels, and replenishment schedules for raw materials and finished goods in the Nigerian market.
- Lead end-to-end intercompany replenishments, purchase forecasts, and import planning cycles while tracking shipment ETAs.
- Coordinate export supply requirements to guarantee zero missed vessel schedules and ensure proactive stakeholder communication.
- Identify SKUs at risk of becoming slow-moving or obsolete (SLOB) and drive reduction strategies alongside commercial teams.
- Manage feedstock availability and coordinate readiness reviews for all new product launches at least 90 days in advance.
- Publish accurate month-end supply reports covering Days of Cover, SLOB status, and supply risks within two working days of close.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in supply planning, materials planning, or inventory management within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel-based planning, data analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Proven track record of managing replenishment cycles and international supply chain coordination.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across production, commercial, and finance teams.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE is a strong advantage.
