About the Role
Fact Base Consulting is currently hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Officer on behalf of our esteemed client in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring seamless coordination between demand planning, procurement, and production.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, and critical supplies to ensure optimum stock availability across all locations.
- Identify potential supply constraints, material shortages, and production capacity limitations, proactively recommending effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to reconcile demand and supply requirements, resolving gaps between forecasted demand and available inventory.
- Partner with Procurement to guarantee the timely delivery of raw materials and production inputs in strict alignment with approved supply plans.
- Track production plan adherence and evaluate the impact of variances, downtime, and material shortages on overall supply commitments.
- Coordinate efficient stock replenishment across plants, warehouses, depots, and distribution channels based on current demand and allocation plans.
- Analyze inventory trends to minimize excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and aging stock while consistently upholding required service levels.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain operations, and contract management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Possession of a recognized professional certification in procurement or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management systems.
