About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas, a leading wholly-owned Nigerian oil services company, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee our comprehensive procurement, logistics, and inventory operations. Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives and industry demands.
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, commercial negotiations, and contract administration.
- Drive the Line Pipes and OCTG Sourcing and Management Team (LOSOM), maintaining a robust database of approved OEMs, mills, and accredited distributors.
- Manage international procurement, shipping, customs clearance at Nigerian ports, and local trucking logistics.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Nigerian Customs tariff structures, NCDMB mandates, and relevant governmental agencies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations to support major tenders and project execution.
- Establish supplier performance metrics, conduct market research, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to foster a high-performance culture and close operational skill gaps.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of continuous supply chain and procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within upstream oilfield services.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or APICS/ASCM are highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of Nigerian port clearing procedures, customs tariff regulations, and the 5-stage clearing process.
- Proven expertise in managing international sourcing, inventory control, vendor negotiations, and EPC/IOC project support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advanced MS Excel skills.
