About the Role

Tincan Island Container Terminal Limited (TICT), established in 2004, is a multinational port operations leader in Nigeria committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee our procurement, logistics, and inventory systems, ensuring seamless port terminal operations at our Apapa, Lagos facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement and logistics policies, systems, and structures to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including sea and air freight coordination, customs clearance, Form M, Letters of Credit, and liaison with clearing agents and banks.
  • Oversee vendor management by negotiating favorable contracts, establishing service level agreements, and monitoring performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Organize tendering processes, prepare bid documents, evaluate submissions, and maintain a robust database of prequalified suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian import regulations, customs and excise acts, and company safety standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the supply chain team to foster high productivity and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management, preferably within maritime, port operations, or heavy industry.
  • Possession of a Safety Level 1 certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian import regulations, customs clearing processes, and international trade practices.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel, alongside excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
