About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Maintenance Supervisor specializing in the cold chain to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems used in our cold chain logistics operations, ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and strict compliance with industry standards to protect product integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration units and cooling systems of cold-chain trucks.
- Monitor and control temperature and humidity levels in storage facilities and transport vehicles to meet strict quality standards.
- Ensure all refrigeration equipment and transport trucks comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on maintenance schedules, repairs, system performance, and spare parts inventory.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency in cooling systems and reduce overall operational costs.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant technical maintenance experience within a transport or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment for refrigeration systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle manufacturer specifications and ERP systems for maintenance work orders.
