About the Role
DP World is a leading global supply chain solutions provider dedicated to making trade flow better across the globe. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will ensure the optimal operational condition of our facilities through effective maintenance, lease management, and strategic contract negotiations. You will play a vital part in upholding the operational integrity of our offices, warehouses, and guest houses in Lagos and Ibadan, contributing to our mission of seamless supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage lease schedules, renewals, and negotiations for properties and third-party warehouses.
- Collate and analyze vendor tenders and prepare comprehensive payment advice for contractors.
- Inspect new premises for availability and suitability before engagement and liaise with government agencies for regulatory compliance.
- Organize routine and general facility maintenance for company assets, warehouses, and guest houses.
- Monitor asset conditions, maintain a database of official vehicles, furniture, and fittings, and manage unserviceable asset disposal.
- Promote a strong culture of safety in alignment with HSEQ policies and conduct routine HSE inspections.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Facilities Management, Sciences, or Management-related courses.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in facilities management, lease administration, and contract negotiation.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian government regulations, statutory compliance, and health, safety, and environment standards.
- Excellent vendor evaluation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
