About the Role
Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is a wholly indigenous construction and property development company committed to delivering high-quality building and estate projects across Nigeria. We are seeking a highly competent, results-oriented Structural and Civil Engineer to join our dynamic project development team. In this role, you will oversee structural design, civil engineering works, construction supervision, and quality control for high-rise buildings, residential estates, and multi-unit developments, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and supervise structural designs for high-rise buildings, terraces, duplexes, and commercial developments.
- Perform structural analysis for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and retaining walls in compliance with building codes.
- Supervise civil and structural engineering works on active construction sites to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate civil infrastructure works for estate developments, including access roads, drainage systems, and earthworks.
- Collaborate with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, and other consultants to resolve technical challenges and prevent clashes.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance and safety control procedures for material testing and construction methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in structural design, construction supervision, and project coordination.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-rise buildings, multi-unit residential developments, and large-scale estate infrastructure.
- Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.Pro.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality control, site safety regulations, and reinforced concrete structures.
- Professional registration with COREN or eligibility for prompt registration is strongly preferred.
