About the Role

Lafiya Nigeria is a fast-growing global health non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening social infrastructure by empowering women through improved access to contraception and family planning information in far-reaching communities. We are seeking a analytical, truth-seeking Strategy & Impact Analyst to join our Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) team. In this role, you will shape our strategic and programmatic decisions by producing timely, rigorous cost-effectiveness models and evidence syntheses, spending your initial weeks on the ground in Nigeria to deeply understand our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and refine Lafiya's core cost-effectiveness models incorporating routine programme data and academic literature.
  • Provide rapid, decision-support analysis for resource allocation, programmatic adjustments, and expansion strategies.
  • Monitor unit costs over time and model the potential impact of proposed interventions like digital training.
  • Synthesize cross-sector research on SRHR and global health to guide internal decision-making.
  • Engage professionally with external evaluators, funders, and academic stakeholders on impact methodology.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings and associated uncertainties clearly and transparently to non-technical leaders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience building cost-effectiveness or decision-analysis models in consulting, research, or EA-aligned organizations.
  • Mandatory professional fluency in English and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with R or Python is considered a strong operational asset.
  • Exceptional autonomous problem-solving skills and comfort working with imperfect, real-world data.
