About the Role
Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a premier hospitality consultancy company incorporated in 2009, dedicated to elevating the standard of hospitality and leisure across Nigeria. Headquartered in Lagos, we provide comprehensive management and operational support to small and medium hotels. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Storekeeper to join our dynamic team and manage our inventory operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify all goods delivered to the hotel for accurate quantities, quality, specifications, and expiry dates.
- Record all incoming and outgoing goods meticulously in stock records, bin cards, and inventory software.
- Properly arrange, label, and store items in designated areas while applying the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for perishables.
- Issue supplies strictly to authorized department heads upon receipt of approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels continuously, flag slow-moving items, and prepare timely purchase requests for replenishment.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with comprehensive monthly audits.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and hygienic store environment while preventing damage, spoilage, theft, and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate closely with the Accountant, Purchasing Officer, Kitchen, and Housekeeping departments to streamline operations.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Store Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Officer, or Warehouse Assistant, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems, FIFO principles, and stock control best practices.
- Excellent numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various hotel departments.
