About the Role
Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL), a leading producer of fresh milk and dairy products in Nigeria operating from Vom, Plateau State, is looking for a detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of inventory, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials while maintaining rigorous stock control in alignment with our company policies and premium quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods to verify accuracy in both quantity and quality.
- Organize and store materials securely within designated facility areas.
- Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date inventory records utilizing manual and automated systems.
- Conduct routine periodic stock counts and effectively reconcile any discrepancies.
- Ensure clear labeling and tagging for all stored inventory items.
- Monitor stock levels proactively, alerting management to potential shortages.
- Enforce strict safety, cleanliness, and security protocols across the entire storage area.
- Fulfill and issue store requisitions strictly based on approved management authorizations.
- Uphold company quality and hygiene standards tailored to dairy production environments.
- Minimum of an OND in Store Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehousing, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern inventory control systems and stock management principles.
- Strong organizational, verbal communication, and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
- High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
