About the Role
J-Six Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring strict food safety and hygiene standards, and managing the seamless flow of goods from receiving to issuance. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality to our customers, and your meticulous record-keeping and inventory management will play a vital role in our daily operations and overall success.
Key Responsibilities- Follow all established standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.
- Monitor and conduct regular inventory counts to compile accurate orders based on established par levels.
- Receive all incoming items, verifying that goods match purchase orders, delivery notes, and agreed quantities, while refusing damaged or incorrect items.
- Maintain clear, organized records, ensuring all reports and invoices are filed properly and posted immediately into the inventory system.
- Ensure day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and strict compliance with hygiene regulations across all storage facilities.
- Process store requisition forms only when properly signed, and follow up on after-hours issues in line with internal controls.
- Collaborate closely with the procurement team to coordinate orders, equipment arrivals, and supply needs.
- Minimum of an OND qualification in a relevant field.
- At least 1 year of work experience in a storekeeping or inventory role, preferably within a fast-food restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and market requisition processes.
- Excellent numerical skills and strong communication abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Must reside in close proximity to the job location.
- Competitive monthly net salary of N80,000.
