About the Role
De Tastee Group, a leading quick service restaurant and hospitality outfit, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Store Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations by managing warehouse inventories, tracking stock levels, and ensuring that all materials are handled with the utmost care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company warehouse.
- Maintain required stock of materials to optimize production and fulfill requisitions, orders, or requests promptly.
- Analyze current inventories and procedures, suggesting improvements to increase warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to quality and safety codes, tracking expiry dates on items and identifying damage, loss, or surplus.
- Move materials off racks, package them for dispatch, place items on pallets or shelves, and sort according to size, type, color, or code.
- Compile inventory balances, price lists, and regular activity reports while complying with company inventory management standards.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Store Officer, Warehouse Worker, or similar inventory role, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software and databases.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lift heavy materials safely.
