About the Role
The Nigerian Navy invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Store Assistant. As a vital part of our logistical and operational framework, you will help maintain the readiness and efficiency of our maritime force, ensuring all naval assets and supplies are properly managed to support national security and economic prosperity in the Gulf of Guinea.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and store incoming naval inventory, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all stock levels and movements.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies to the logistics supervisor.
- Issue and distribute materials to authorized personnel following strict protocol.
- Ensure the warehouse and storage facilities are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in inventory management software is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a disciplined and structured team environment.
