About the Role
New Incentives is a dynamic, US-based nonprofit organization committed to saving lives in developing countries by implementing health-related cash transfer programs. Operating in Nigeria, we provide conditional cash transfers to pregnant women with at-risk pregnancies, encouraging adherence to critical medical advice and treatments to ensure healthy child development. We are currently looking for a passionate and results-driven Stakeholder Relations Manager to join our growing team in Gombe State and lead our vital community and institutional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and execute pre-planning, advocacy meetings, and orientation trainings for seamless program expansion into new operating areas.
- Manage relationships with key government officials, NGO partners, and local stakeholders through regular outreach and satisfaction assessments.
- Supervise the Stakeholder Relations team, conducting daily status checks, reviewing work weeks, and ensuring timely completion of milestones using project management tools.
- Ensure rigorous data collection, logging activity feedback on the MyDay app, and maintaining accurate reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor and report security incidents across operational areas while strictly adhering to organizational security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health, natural sciences, or a related field; professional NGO certifications are a strong advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the NGO or public health sector.
- Must be a Nigerian national currently based in Gombe State with native fluency in English and local languages/dialects, especially Hausa.
- Demonstrated experience navigating the Nigerian health system, clinic documentation, and health data collection.
- Willingness to travel to remote public clinics using public transport on a regular basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, smartphones, and collaborative digital communication tools.
