About the Role
Arrupe Jesuit College (AJC), a prestigious educational institution belonging to the Society of Jesus in the Roman Catholic Church, is seeking a reliable and skilled Staff Food Vendor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing healthy, balanced, and delicious meals for our staff members while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and culinary excellence within our school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Cook and prepare high-quality meals using fresh ingredients in compliance with established institutional standards and dietary requirements.
- Provide balanced, nutritious, and appealing meals that cater to the daily needs of the staff.
- Maintain valid health and medical certificates for all food handlers to ensure fitness for working in a sensitive school environment.
- Serve staff members in a friendly, organized, and prompt manner during designated lunch periods.
- Store food items at correct temperatures, monitor inventory levels efficiently, and distribute appropriate portion sizes.
- Prepare food off-site and ensure timely delivery and availability at the required schedule.
- Minimum of an SSCE or its equivalent academic qualification.
- Must currently reside in Abbi, Delta State, or be genuinely willing to relocate.
- Possession of valid health certification and food handler permits.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polite, friendly demeanor and a good command of the English language.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
