Key Responsibilities- Identify and assess learners with special educational needs, developing customized intervention strategies.
- Provide comprehensive academic and behavioral support, reinforcing core subjects tailored to individual learning paces.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals including speech therapists and educational psychologists.
- Plan and schedule regular stakeholder meetings to review, evaluate, and adapt support plans for SEND learners.
- Monitor and document student progress meticulously, maintaining accurate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), progress reports, and intervention trackers.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive classroom environment while strictly adhering to organizational safeguarding procedures.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education; a Master's degree (M.Sc.) will be an added advantage.
- Proven professional experience working as a Special Education Teacher or in a highly relevant inclusive education role.
- Deep understanding of current special education methodologies, pedagogical topics, and global best practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting children with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.
- Strong proficiency in creating, implementing, and reviewing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Possession of a valid state special education certificate or relevant professional teaching credentials.
