Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations in accordance with standard medical protocols and physician orders.
- Operate ultrasound equipment properly, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety throughout procedures.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients, addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records, documenting scan results and clinical observations accurately.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and calibrated regularly.
- Adhere strictly to professional safety standards, infection control protocols, and ethical guidelines.
- Relevant professional qualifications and certifications in Medical Sonography or Ultrasonography.
- Valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Proven clinical experience working within a hospital or diagnostic clinic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
