About the Role
Cavista is looking for a dynamic and visionary Software Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and manage multiple agile teams comprising software engineers, team leads, and product managers. In this pivotal role, you will be strategic in developing initiatives and setting timelines for the evaluation, development, and deployment of cutting-edge web, mobile, and cloud-based services. You will empower our engineering talent to build world-class products that drive operational efficiency for organizations globally.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a broad portfolio of diverse technology projects in an agile scrum environment to provide innovative web, mobile, and integration solutions.
- Lead application and software development, working closely with engineering teams to solve challenging architectural problems and deliver high-quality SaaS products on the cloud.
- Provide technical guidance, prioritize workloads, lead code reviews, and drive the resolution of critical architectural bottlenecks and bugs.
- Engage with key company leaders to align technical vision with overall business priorities and communicate strategic goals effectively.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a talented team of engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and professional growth.
- Drive the full software development lifecycle, optimizing resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of combined experience in software engineering leadership, successfully managing, architecting, and deploying SaaS applications in cloud-based infrastructures.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience utilizing agile development and scrum methodologies.
- 1 to 3 years of experience building consumer-facing web and mobile software solutions.
- 2 to 4 years of people management experience with a proven track record of building, motivating, and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Solid understanding of security issues facing modern SaaS platforms and effective mitigation strategies.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with strong strategic business judgment.
