As a Social Studies Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of society, culture, and civics, inspiring them to become responsible and globally conscious citizens.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging Social Studies lessons in accordance with the approved school curriculum.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments to track student progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning and critical thinking.
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and behavioral development.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and welfare.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, Sociology, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputable educational institution.
- Strong pedagogical skills with a deep understanding of modern teaching methodologies and curriculum implementation.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology and digital tools into daily lesson delivery.
- Valid teaching certification or professional educational registration is an added advantage.
