We are currently seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Secondary Social Science Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and help shape the next generation of leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, effective, and curriculum-compliant lessons in Social Science subjects to secondary school students.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and intellectual exploration.
- Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and moral development while acting as a positive mentor and role model.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, continuous assessments, and accurate student progress records on schedule.
- Participate actively in school activities, clubs, co-curricular programs (CCA), and wider extracurricular events.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, discipline, punctuality, and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Possession of an HND, NCE, BSc, BEd, or Master's degree in a relevant Social Science discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Mandatory possession of the NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, child development, and nation-building.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to meet targets.
- Willingness to commit to a tenure of at least two years and adhere to professional notice protocols.
