About the Role
South Kitchen & Lounge, a premier Nigerian food, drinks, and hospitality brand with thriving locations in Abeokuta and Ibadan, is looking for an innovative and dynamic Social Media Manager. In this role, you will be the creative voice of our brand, capturing the vibrant atmosphere of our lounges, our exquisite Nigerian and continental dishes, and our signature cocktails. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with South Kitchen & Lounge brand goals.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging daily content, including high-quality photos, short-form videos, and captivating captions across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Monitor social media trends, viral challenges, and audience sentiment to proactively incorporate them into our content calendar.
- Engage actively with our online community by responding to comments, direct messages, and reviews promptly to foster brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to promote special events, weekend hangouts, and new menu offerings.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate regular reports to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Proven professional experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar digital marketing role, preferably within the hospitality, food, or lifestyle sector.
- Strong proficiency in content creation tools, smartphone videography, and basic photo/video editing software.
- Exceptional copywriting and communication skills with a strong understanding of Nigerian internet culture and social media trends.
- Ability to visit our locations in Abeokuta and Ibadan to capture live content during peak dining and entertainment hours.
- Creative mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
