About the Role
ShopperMayor is a premier U.S. procurement and freight forwarding service designed specifically for Nigerian shoppers. We bridge the access gap by enabling individuals and businesses in Nigeria to seamlessly shop from popular American retail giants—such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Nike—that typically block local Nigerian payment cards or refuse direct shipping to Lagos. We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our growing team on an in-person basis at our Ajao Estate office.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook to elevate the ShopperMayor brand.
- Create engaging, high-quality multimedia content, including graphics, reels, and promotional copy that highlights seamless U.S. shopping and shipping solutions.
- Monitor social media trends, viral challenges, and audience sentiment to proactively adapt content and maintain high engagement rates.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, comments, and direct messages, fostering a vibrant and supportive online community.
- Collaborate with the marketing and logistics teams to promote special sales events, discounts, and shipping updates to Nigerian shoppers.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and generate detailed monthly reports to optimize future social media strategies.
- Proven professional experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar digital marketing role.
- Must reside within Ajao Estate, Lagos, or the immediate surrounding areas to ensure reliable, on-site daily attendance.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian e-commerce landscape, cross-border shipping pain points, and popular U.S. retail brands.
- Exceptional copywriting, editing, and visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for engaging aesthetics.
- Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and basic graphic design software.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences online.
