We are currently seeking a dedicated Shift Team Lead - Production to provide hands-on leadership on our production shift, ensuring schedules are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and collaborate effectively with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets safely and on time.
- Ensure strict adherence to production schedules and collaborate closely with quality assurance teams to maintain product integrity.
- Manage machinery operations, including the safe disassembly, reassembly, and calibration of production equipment.
- Conduct accurate yield reconciliations at the completion of each production batch.
- Oversee the thorough completion of all necessary documentation, including line logs and quality control records.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across production areas, tooling, and machinery.
- Manage comprehensive shift handovers to guarantee seamless production continuity across shift changes.
- Address operational issues swiftly, escalate critical matters to management, and lead effective problem-solving initiatives.
- Participate in product trials and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience within the beverage manufacturing industry will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly growing manufacturing setting.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills with the capacity to motivate and build high-performing teams.
