About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Shift Engineer to join our operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining strict safety protocols, and ensuring seamless 24/7 terminal operations to support our strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance operational safety across all terminal processes and enforce strict compliance with industry health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ensure 24/7 operational continuity by proactively monitoring plant equipment and resolving technical bottlenecks swiftly.
- Improve operational efficiency through continuous process optimization and resource management.
- Strengthen regulatory compliance by adhering to local and international petroleum industry laws and guidelines.
- Improve incident management protocols by leading emergency response efforts and conducting thorough root-cause analyses.
- Enhance workforce supervision by mentoring shift technicians and delegating daily tasks effectively.
- Reduce operational risk by identifying potential hazards and implementing robust mitigation strategies.
- Possession of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of cognate experience in oil and gas terminal operations.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in incident management, safety compliance, and team supervision.
