We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer with specialized expertise in mechanical maintenance within the dynamic dairy, juice, beverage, and food processing sectors. In this critical field-based role, you will act as a primary technical representative, ensuring that our clients' industrial machinery operates at peak efficiency through expert installation, routine maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities- Install, assemble, align, and commission complex industrial machinery and food processing equipment at client sites.
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections, complex troubleshooting, and urgent breakdown repairs to minimize operational downtime.
- Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance schedules on mechanical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical faults accurately and replace defective components in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct rigorous equipment testing, calibration, and performance validation before handovers.
- Provide expert onsite technical support and deliver basic operational training to client teams.
- Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance checklists, and formal commissioning documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety policies as well as industry standards.
- Travel extensively to diverse client locations to attend to scheduled servicing and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), B.Tech, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in mechanical maintenance or service engineering.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working in the dairy, juice, beverage, or food processing industry is strictly required.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and systematic troubleshooting methodologies.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to various client locations for servicing and maintenance tasks.
