We are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Talent/Recruitment Officer to drive our workforce strategy and attract top-tier talent for our technical, operational, and corporate roles.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end manpower requisitions from initiation through sourcing, assessment, selection, offer, and seamless onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, competency frameworks, job descriptions, and recruitment timelines.
- Develop robust sourcing strategies specifically tailored for specialist, technical leadership, and hard-to-fill upstream oil and gas positions.
- Screen applications, manage recruitment channels, and conduct competency-based interviews and technical assessments.
- Execute candidate due diligence, including reference checks and verification of employment and academic credentials.
- Support compensation benchmarking, offer simulations, and offer management in line with internal remuneration frameworks.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, audit-ready personnel files, and insightful analytics to measure time-to-fill and sourcing effectiveness.
- Ensure all recruitment activities strictly comply with company policies, approved manpower budgets, and Nigerian labor regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive recruitment and talent acquisition experience, with substantial exposure to the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting technical specialists, engineering professionals, and senior leadership talent.
- Active professional membership or certification such as CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or an equivalent recognized body.
- Expertise in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern digital sourcing platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, confidentiality, and documentation discipline.
