We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Program Officer, Governance and Leadership to drive our high-impact programs and foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the refinement and execution of the Leadership for Equity, Advocacy & Development (LEAD) Fellowship across 10 selected institutions.
- Oversee the review and expansion of the Campus Champion Manual, virtual learning labs, and knowledge delivery platforms.
- Design and coordinate the Policy Lab, intra-campus competitions, regional semifinals, and the national finale in Abuja.
- Identify sector-aligned partners and facilitate technical placements for finalist teams within governance and civic organizations.
- Broker strategic partnerships with civic organizations, governance institutions, feminist networks, and policy actors.
- Ensure robust documentation, knowledge management systems, and outcome-tracking dashboards.
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Governance, Gender Studies, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in governance, civic engagement, youth leadership development, or gender justice.
- Strong grounding in feminist principles, power analysis, and systems thinking.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-institutional initiatives and engaging government actors.
- Exceptional partnership-building, coalition management, and multi-stakeholder convening skills.
- Flexibility and availability to travel as required by project demands.
