About the Role
Hampshire Heights Global Company Limited (HHGCL) is a prominent information technology and management consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialize in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technical project management tailored for global multi-nationals and public sector organizations across Africa. We are currently looking for a talented Senior Native Android Developer to join our dynamic engineering team on an on-site basis.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain advanced native applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
- Implement robust mobile architectures including MVVM and Clean Architecture principles to ensure scalability.
- Integrate secure third-party APIs and implement industry-standard mobile security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features efficiently.
- Conduct thorough performance optimization, identifying and correcting bottlenecks to maximize app speed and responsiveness.
- BSc in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive professional experience with native Kotlin and Java development.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture, secure API integrations, and application security.
- Proven track record in mobile app performance optimization.
- Prior experience in the fintech, banking, or payment sector is a major advantage.
- Must currently reside in Lagos and be available to work on-site Monday through Friday.
