We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Medical Officer to join our esteemed medical team in Kaduna. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, mentor junior medical officers, and uphold our commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide largely independent assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients in family medicine across out-patient and in-patient settings.
  • Support consultant-led clinics, ward rounds, and complex medical procedures.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical officers and trainees to foster professional development.
  • Participate actively in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient-safety programs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and ensure compliance with internal clinical policies and current MDCN registration.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, coordinating patient care and supporting HMO processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of housemanship/internship and NYSC, alongside a valid, current MDCN practising licence.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC clinical experience with proven progression through Medical Officer grades.
  • Strong clinical expertise in family medicine with exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Progress toward a postgraduate fellowship (e.g., primary or part exams of NPMCN or WACP) is an added advantage.
