About the Role
Erisco Foods Limited is a leading indigenous FMCG manufacturer renowned for producing trusted Nigerian food products including Nagiko Tomato Paste, rice, and seasonings. We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Senior Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this vital manufacturing role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our advanced food processing and packaging machinery to ensure seamless, high-volume production operations while strictly upholding our rigorous hygiene and quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and continuously monitor food processing and packaging machinery to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure all production lines are accurately set up and calibrated before starting manufacturing runs.
- Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor servicing of industrial plant equipment.
- Promptly detect, troubleshoot, and report mechanical faults, operational bottlenecks, or machine malfunctions.
- Maintain strict compliance with company health, safety, hygiene, and quality control regulations.
- Complete accurate daily production logs, operational reports, and output documentation.
- Collaborate closely with production supervisors, technicians, and floor team members to optimize plant efficiency.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or recognized Technical Certificate in a related engineering or mechanical field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on manufacturing or FMCG machine operating experience in Nigeria.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts and extended production hours when required.
