As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a qualified and passionate Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering to join our esteemed faculty for the 2026/2027 academic session. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Software Engineering and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and research activities.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula to align with global industry standards and technological advancements.
- Conduct impactful research, publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals, and attract research grants.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community service initiatives.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering or closely related fields from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of six (6) years of full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience in a university environment.
- A robust portfolio of significant scholarly publications in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop, execute, and direct major research projects.
- High proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital teaching and learning tools.
- Competitive remuneration structured on the KDUTSS 05 salary scale, comparable to Federal Universities in Nigeria.
