Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Public Health and related disciplines.
- Develop, update, and evaluate curriculum content to meet national and international academic standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct cutting-edge research, publish findings in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students to support their holistic development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committee assignments.
- Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with public health organizations, agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Public Health or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of six (6) years of continuous full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust portfolio of significant scholarly publications in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven ability to independently develop, execute, and direct major research projects.
- High proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools.
- Evidence of strong leadership qualities, administrative acumen, and community service.
- Competitive remuneration structured on the KDUTSS 05 scale, comparable to packages in Federal Universities.
