About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa and located in Masaka, Nasarawa State, is seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Lecturer in Physiology. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Physiology while mentoring students toward academic and professional success.
- Design, update, and implement cutting-edge curriculum content in line with NUC standards and global best practices.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to institutional growth and administrative duties.
Candidates must meet the following rigorous academic and professional criteria:
- Ph.D. in Physiology or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of 8 quality scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- At least 6 years of progressive teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research grants and collaborate across academic disciplines.
