About the Role
Vision University, Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria, is a dynamic and newly established private, faith-based institution that received its provisional operating license from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023. Mentored by Lagos State University (LASU) to ensure the highest standards of academic delivery, we are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated academic professional to join our vibrant faculty as a Senior Lecturer in Physics with Electronics. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and seminars in Physics with Electronics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Design, update, and develop innovative curriculum content aligned with NUC guidelines and industry standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and laboratory activities.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek research grants.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, as well as institutional accreditation exercises.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and collaborative academic partnerships.
- Possess a good Ph.D. degree in Physics, Electronics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Show a strong track record of academic publications in reputable, indexed journals.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Membership in relevant professional physics and engineering bodies will be an added advantage.
