About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria is a landmark institution bridging world-class academic pedagogy with dynamic industry demands. Located on our sprawling campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State along the Abuja corridor, we are fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Lecturer in Nursing Science to join our esteemed faculty and drive academic excellence in our nursing program.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Nursing Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Design, update, and review curriculum content in alignment with NUC guidelines and global healthcare standards.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and clinical rotations.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate in departmental administration, curriculum development, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Nursing Science or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have a minimum of 8 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Must possess at least 6 years of progressive teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated evidence of active participation in academic conferences and community service.
- Current registration and good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
