Bingham University, Karu, invites applications from suitably qualified and dedicated academics for the position of Senior Lecturer in Medical Biochemistry within the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Medical Biochemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and continuous improvement of departmental programs.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Contribute to departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry or a relevant field from a recognized university.
- Must possess an MBBS or MBChB degree with relevant professional qualifications.
- Must hold active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
- Minimum of six (6) years of cognate teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
