Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical training in Mass Communication at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Publish cutting-edge research in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic and career mentorship to students, fostering digital literacy and industry readiness.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Forge strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives between the university and the media/corporate sectors.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Mass Communication or a closely related specialization from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated track record of academic leadership, administrative competence, and student mentoring.
- Strong publication record in reputable local and international journals.
- Proficiency in digital tools and modern instructional technologies relevant to contemporary mass media education.
