Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical training in undergraduate and postgraduate Mass Communication courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct cutting-edge academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, departmental administration, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Mentor and advise students on academic performance, career paths, and professional development.
- Participate in department meetings, university committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Mass Communication or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of progressive teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must have authored and published at least 8 scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research grants and collaborate on multidisciplinary academic projects is an added advantage.
