The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a premier federal university founded in 1970, is currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Senior Lecturer in Marketing to join our esteemed Department of Management Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials in undergraduate and postgraduate marketing programs.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, Master's theses, and PhD dissertations.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, course design, and academic program evaluations to ensure industry relevance.
- Contribute to departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Engage in community service and foster strategic partnerships with corporate organizations and industry stakeholders.
- Possession of a PhD in Marketing or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active, post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level.
- An established research record with at least eight (8) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Demonstrated ability in academic leadership, student mentorship, and curriculum delivery.
