Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Marine Engineering.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic quality assurance processes.
- Engage in community service and forge strategic partnerships with maritime industries and professional bodies.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional accreditation exercises.
- Possession of a PhD in Marine Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division, or a Second Class Lower Division coupled with a PhD.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience at the university level.
- Must have at least eight (8) quality peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research grants and collaborate with industry stakeholders is a distinct advantage.
