Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction and advancing research within the Fine Arts department. Your core duties will include:
- Delivering engaging, innovative lectures and practical studio sessions in Fine Arts to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Developing and updating curriculum content that aligns with global best practices and contemporary artistic trends.
- Conducting impactful academic research and publishing scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentoring students, supervising undergraduate and graduate research projects, and providing academic advising.
- Participating in departmental administration, committee work, and university-wide community engagement initiatives.
- Integrating modern digital teaching tools and methodologies into the daily learning experience.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the rigorous standards required for academic excellence, including:
- A Ph.D. in Fine Arts or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of six (6) years of dedicated university teaching and research experience.
- A strong portfolio of scholarly publications in reputable national and international journals.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies within the arts sector.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and modern learning management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire students and foster a collaborative, creative studio environment.
