Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate practical learning sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Library and Information Science.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic field work at various levels.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local, national, and international academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university-wide administrative duties and committee assignments.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course evaluation, and quality assurance processes within the department.
- Mentor students academically and morally, aligning with the ethical standards and mission of Al-Hikmah University.
- Engage in community service and professional outreach relevant to the field of library and information science.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Library and Information Science or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable university.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience at the university level.
- Demonstrated evidence of strong scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed local, national, and international journals.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies and associations is required.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
