Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria, a reputable private conventional institution established in 2005, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Computer Science within the College of Natural Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Cyber Security.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local, national, and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
- Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and guidance to students to ensure holistic development.
- Contribute to departmental, college, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable university.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time university-level teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in reputable local, national, and international journals.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CPN, NCS) is highly desirable.
