About the Role

Founded in 2005, the university continues to expand its academic horizons and is currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension within the Faculty of Agriculture. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Agricultural Economics and Extension.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local, national, and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee duties.
- Mentor students academically and morally in alignment with the institutional motto of Learning for Wisdom and Morality.
- Engage in community service and agricultural outreach programs to drive societal impact.
- Must hold a Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- A minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience at a recognized university.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies and associations.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
