About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU), a premier private tertiary institution licensed by the National Universities Commission, is inviting applications from qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security. Founded by Chief Kola Daisi, CON, the university is committed to academic excellence, innovative research, and the holistic development of youth. We are looking for a dedicated scholar ready to drive academic distinction and contribute to our expanding Faculty of Applied Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Cyber Security and related computing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Initiate, develop, and execute high-impact research projects that contribute to national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, departmental administration, and quality assurance processes.
- Mentor junior academic staff and participate in community engagement and university service initiatives.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related relevant field.
- Minimum of six (6) years of full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience in a recognized university.
- A strong portfolio of significant scholarly publications in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research grants, develop research directions, and mentor students.
- High proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence in digital learning platforms and modern pedagogical tools.
