About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria is West Africa's leading technology-focused institution and the first Indian university established on the African continent. Located in Masaka, Nasarawa State, along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are seeking an exceptional Senior Lecturer in Computer Science to contribute to our mission of delivering skill-oriented, international-quality education that produces the next generation of global IT professionals, data engineers, and enterprise software leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Computer Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish findings in reputable scholarly journals
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and academic research initiatives
- Develop innovative curriculum aligned with industry standards and international best practices
- Contribute to departmental strategic planning and academic excellence
- Mentor junior faculty and support student professional development
- Participate in community engagement and knowledge transfer programs
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of teaching experience in recognized institutions
- At least 8 published articles in reputable scholarly journals
- Strong research background with demonstrated academic impact
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
