About the Role
Bingham University, Karu, established by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), is dedicated to providing quality tertiary education that integrates moral and spiritual values. We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Senior Lecturer to join the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In this role, you will help shape the next generation of pharmacists through rigorous teaching, groundbreaking research, and mentorship rooted in Christ-centred academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate theses.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic leadership through curriculum development and departmental committee participation.
- Mentor students and foster an environment of academic integrity and moral excellence.
- Collaborate with professional bodies and healthcare institutions to enhance practical training and community engagement.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice or a closely related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive teaching and research experience at a recognized University level.
- Evidence of at least eight (8) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated potential for academic leadership and department administration.
- Current active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body (PCN).
