Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biochemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses at various academic levels.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, course evaluation, and the introduction of modern teaching methodologies.
- Provide academic mentoring, career guidance, and pastoral support to students.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties as assigned.
- Forge strategic research partnerships and linkages with corporate organizations and industry stakeholders.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong, verifiable track record of academic publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated capacity for academic leadership, administrative competence, and student mentoring.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools, learning management systems, and modern research software.
